This VSR 60″ Shear Slitting Machine is a custom machine built to handle large rolls. The machine shown here slits material using the shear cutting technique, rewinds onto 12″ diameter cantilevered differential shafts, and unloads the slit rolls automatically to reduce operator handling. Built with the operator’s safety in mind, the pedestal control center can be placed away from the machine and light curtains protect the operator from entering any zones where mechanical movement occurs.
