This is a custom machine built to make 2D and 3D Bio-Reactor Bags. The machine utilized multiple unwinds to bring layers of material together, seal them to width, slit, and sheet the material in order to create bags used in the medical industry. Two machine modes allow for the machine to be used to rewind bags into rolls of material or to produce the bags on demand.
This system provides means to form “V” shaped Side Panels from two stations 48” wide web with up to 21” diameter master rolls of material, fold the webs in opposite directions, edge aligning them, heat seal these Side Panels to Front and Back Panels with material in lay-flat form from two additional unwind stations and rewind the material in tube form (no end panels) onto one rewind shaft to 14” max. dia.
